Service Description

​Bring a simple idea and turn it into an amazing work of illuminated art. All materials are included and you get to take your finished project home, ready to light up your life. We recommend very simple designs for this session, usually something abstract is a good choice because you can adjust as you work with the material. Neon is a difficult medium: Expect things to go wrong, in a fun way! We will help refine your idea to something doable, and provide hands-on help to achieve your vision. Expect the finished piece to be 1.5-2 feet wide and your color options are clear glass with neon (bright red) or argon (lovely light purple). Examples of successful Neon Night Out ideas include: - Shapes with mostly soft curves allow you to be in the fire the most (note that a circle is the most difficult shape to bend, but we'll cover that more in person). Tight shapes and letters are not recommended. It's difficult to achieve them in the time allotted. - Organic 3D sculptural shapes. We guide you a bit but it's a really fun way to explore glass bending - Once a pair made an abstract landscape: One person worked on an abstract mountain shape and the other worked on a simple water shape. - Once a pair made a special heart: One person made the right side of a heart with a traditional shape and the other made a more organic left side of the heart. Once together, the two sides formed a special heart shape. **Very important to note** Even an idea that feels simple may need adjustment - but we're here to help guide you though that process and light up your life!
